Saturday evening, Chipotle Restaurant in Mandeville sponsored a fundraiser for Kelly Kicking Cancer. The total from the evening was $175. A number of friends dropped by, including our 2018 $1,000 soccer scholarship recipient Zoe Perrin. Zoe is playing at Samford University, and was getting ready for the upcoming game against the LSU women's soccer team (unfortunately, Samford lost 2-0 :-(
Chipotle has been very good to Kelly Kicking Cancer, with fundraisers almost from the beginning. To date they have sponsored three fundraisers for us: one in Baton Rouge; one in Florida; and now in Mandeville. The first one in Baton Rouge was in 2015, and was organized by Kelly's friend Chris from Fontainebleau High School. Chris was attending LSU at the time, and had remained close friends with Kelly. The second was in Sarasota, Florida in 2016, organized by her friend Caitlin, a teammate from Mississippi College.
